Terms & Conditions – Mobile Tattoo Studio Hire

Diva Mobile Tattoo Studio / Diamond Divas

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings of the Diva Mobile Tattoo Studio for weddings, festivals, private parties, corporate events, shows and other events.

By paying a booking fee, deposit or full balance, the Client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the required booking payment has been received and confirmation has been provided by Diamond Divas.

The Client must provide accurate information regarding the event date, venue, location, expected attendance, operating times and nature of the event.

Any significant changes must be communicated to us as soon as possible and may result in a revised quotation.

2. Prices & Payment

Prices are quoted individually according to the requirements of each event and may take into consideration location, travel, operating hours, number of tattoo artists, anticipated number of tattoos and any bespoke requirements. Mobile studio hire packages may include tattoos being provided at no additional cost to guests, guests paying individually for their tattoos, or a combination of the two. Where guests are paying individually, minimum hire charges or minimum sales requirements may apply. These will be confirmed before booking. Any remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on your booking confirmation or invoice. Failure to make payment when due may result in cancellation of the booking.

There will be a minimum booking charge for all bookings. If you are choosing to have guest funded tattoos you will still be required to cover any shortfall of guest payments. To help combat this we will work with you to ensure that guests pay upfront prior to the event so that both us and you know that fees are covered.

3. Booking Fees & Deposits

A deposit of 25% is required to secure an event date and the exact amount will be clearl\y stated at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, booking fees are used to reserve the agreed date and cover administration and preparation associated with the event and are completely non-refundable for this reason. Any cancellation rights available to the Client under applicable UK consumer law are unaffected by these Terms.

4. Client Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify Divas Mobile Tattoo Studio in writing as soon as possible. Any refund or balance due will depend on the amount of notice provided, work already undertaken, costs already incurred and our ability to rebook the date. The deposit remains non-refunadable.

Bespoke costs already incurred for your event, including custom artwork, additional staffing, accommodation or other specifically purchased services, may be deducted from any refund where legally permitted. We strongly recommend that event organisers obtain appropriate event insurance to cover circumstances that may result in cancellation or postponement.

5. Cancellation by Diamond Divas

In the unlikely event that Divas is unable to attend due to serious illness, vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, unsafe conditions or another circumstance outside our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative arrangement where possible. If we cancel the service and cannot provide a suitable alternative, any amounts paid for services that we are unable to provide will be refunded as appropriate. Diamond Divas will not be responsible for indirect losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to applicable law.

6. Venue Access & Positioning

The Client is responsible for ensuring that the venue permits a mobile tattoo studio to operate on site. Suitable vehicle access must be available for arrival, positioning and departure. The operating area must be reasonably level, stable and safe for the mobile studio. The Client must inform us in advance of any restrictions including height, width or weight restrictions, soft ground, narrow access, restricted arrival times, security procedures or other circumstances that could prevent access. If we are unable to safely access or operate at the venue because appropriate access or positioning has not been provided, this may be treated as a Client cancellation.

7. Licensing & Venue Requirements

Diamond Divas will operate in accordance with applicable tattooing, hygiene and licensing requirements. Where an event takes place outside our usual registered area, additional permissions or temporary registration requirements may apply. The Client agrees to provide reasonable assistance with venue information or documentation required to obtain any necessary permissions. A booking may be conditional upon the required legal permissions being obtained.

8. Age Restrictions

Tattooing is strictly 18+. Anyone wishing to be tattooed may be required to provide valid photographic identification. We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental or guardian consent.

9. Right to Refuse Tattooing

Our tattoo artists have the absolute right to refuse to tattoo an individual where there is a legitimate safety, legal or professional reason for doing so. This may include, but is not limited to, a person who:

• is under 18 or cannot provide satisfactory proof of age;

• appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs;

• is unable to provide informed consent;

• has a condition or circumstance that makes tattooing inappropriate or unsafe;

• behaves aggressively, abusively or inappropriately;

• requests artwork that the artist is unwilling or unable to tattoo safely; or

• refuses to complete the required consent procedure.

The event organiser cannot override an artist's decision to refuse a tattoo.

10. Tattoo Consent

Every person receiving a tattoo must complete the required consent and consultation process before being tattooed. Guests are responsible for providing accurate information and following the tattoo artist's advice. Tattooing involves normal and unavoidable risks associated with breaking the skin. These will be addressed through our normal consent and consultation procedures.

11. Designs & Event Flash

Where bespoke flash designs are included in your package, these will be prepared specifically for the requirements agreed with the Client. For high-volume events, tattoos will normally be selected from the event flash designs provided. The size, placement or detail of a design may be adjusted where necessary to ensure that it can be tattooed safely and effectively. Requests outside the agreed flash selection may be declined, particularly during busy events.

12. Waiting Times & Number of Tattoos

We will always aim to tattoo as many eligible guests as reasonably possible during the agreed operating period. However, we cannot guarantee that every guest attending an event will receive a tattoo. The number of tattoos completed will depend on factors including design choice, placement, skin preparation, consent procedures, guest behaviour and the complexity of individual tattoos. Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, unused tattoo availability cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded simply because fewer guests choose to be tattooed than anticipated.

13. Health, Hygiene & Safety

The mobile studio operates as a professional tattooing environment. Only authorised persons may enter working areas where necessary for hygiene, privacy and safety. Guests and event organisers must follow reasonable instructions given by our tattoo artists. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently stop tattooing if conditions become unsafe or unsuitable.

14. Alcohol & Drugs

Guests who appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be tattooed. The decision as to whether a guest is fit to provide informed consent remains with the tattoo artist. Refusal on these grounds does not entitle the Client or guest to compensation or a refund for an individual tattoo.

15. Behaviour

Diamond Divas operates a zero-tolerance approach to threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate or aggressive behaviour towards our artists or staff. We reserve the right to stop providing services and/or leave the event if our staff are placed at risk or subjected to serious inappropriate behaviour.

16. Delays

The Client should ensure that the mobile studio can access the venue at the agreed arrival time. Delays caused by venue access, event management, security, positioning restrictions or other circumstances outside our control may reduce the available tattooing time. Additional operating time cannot be guaranteed.

17. Photography & Social Media

We may ask guests for permission to photograph or film completed tattoos for our portfolio, website or social media. We often Live Stream on Tiktok so please make your guests aware, should this be an issue please let us know in advance. Guests are not required to agree to promotional photography in order to receive a tattoo.

18. Damage

The Client may be responsible for damage to the mobile studio, equipment or property caused deliberately or negligently by the Client or their guests, subject to applicable law. Reasonable repair or replacement costs may be charged where appropriate.

19. Liability

Diamond Divas will take reasonable care in providing all services. Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a Client or guest, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.

20. Events Outside Our Control

Neither party will be responsible for failure to perform obligations where performance is prevented by circumstances genuinely outside that party's reasonable control. These circumstances may include severe weather, flooding, fire, major road closures, government restrictions, venue closure, civil emergencies or other exceptional events. Where this occurs, both parties will make reasonable efforts to agree an appropriate solution, such as postponement or rescheduling.

21. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, artwork and flash designs created by Diamond Divas remain the intellectual property of Diamond Divas. Purchasing an event package or receiving a tattoo does not transfer ownership or reproduction rights to the original artwork. Designs may not be reproduced commercially, sold or supplied to another tattoo artist without permission.

22. Personal Information

Personal information collected in connection with bookings, consultations and tattoo consent will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy. Medical or consultation information provided by individual guests will be treated appropriately and will not be shared with the event organiser unless legally required or the individual has provided appropriate consent.

23. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. Complaints should include the booking name, event date and details of the concern.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The Terms applicable to an event booking will normally be those supplied or made available when the booking was confirmed, unless a change is required by law or subsequently agreed between both parties.

25. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
